Our precious Ali died this morning. Her kidneys failed.Ali was an angel. She was a warrior with a gentle soul, a princess with a tomboy’s heart. And she had the most precious place in my son’s heart.She adored him and he adored her. Calvin & Hobbes had nothing on Christopher & Ali. RIP. It is not just that animals make the world more scenic or picturesque. The lives of animals are woven into our very being - closer than our own breathing - and our soul will suffer when they are gone. ~Gary Kowalski
