Ada Lovelace, the writer and mathematician known as the world’s first computer programmer, is celebrated today in a Google Doodle on the anniversary of her birth.
Augusta Ada King, Countess of Lovelace and daughter of Lord Byron, was born 10 December 1815, died 27 November 1852.
